KOSZYN & COMPANY MATCHING PROGRAM
We all know that we have entered a new era related to racial relations conflict, racial justice, and equity.
When Koszyn & Company founder Jayme Koszyn was at BAM, she hosted the great Congressman John Lewis and their many conversations transformed her thinking about Black lives. Her program "Screening Prejudice," which focused on racial justice issues through a film initiative for high schools, in collaboration with Patricia Williams, Margo Jefferson, and the New York Times reporting team that won the Pulitzer Prize for their work on the "Race in America" series, further educated her.
But it has also been Koszyn & Company's work with the NAACP Legal and Educational Defense Fund, the National Center for Law and Economic Justice, and numerous African American institutions—including the Coalition of Theaters of Color, New Professional Theater, and PALS—that has educated the entire team to work to make this country a far better place, one where Black citizens not only feel safe and treasured, but can thrive knowing that they are supported fully by everyone.
In light of the historic moment that we are in related to discrimination and the heinous treatment of Black citizens, we hope you will consider making a donation to the following organizations that are dedicated to Black lives and culture—and with which Koszyn & Company has had the privilege to work over the years.
Koszyn & Company will donate $5,000 to these organizations as a match to any contributions you make, totaling $10,000 among us. Forward your contribution receipt to bridget@koszynandco.com, and we will make the match. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
